Marlene is a Lebanese woman with greek blood who always had an entrepreneurial spirit. She grew up in Beirut, where she witnessed the vibrant artisanal scene and the unique beauty of handmade products. Marlene always felt that these products deserved more attention and recognition, both locally and internationally. She was determined to make that happen.

After completing her education in Industrial Psychology, Marlene moved to the UAE in 2007, where she worked in the HR industry.  In 2022, She saw an opportunity to showcase handmade products and bring them to a wider audience, she founded her own e-commerce company, "HERA” with the vision of promoting the culture of handcrafted products in the region.

"HERA" comes from Marlene's Greek roots, it's a platform that connects local artisans with customers who appreciate the value of artisanal products. Marlene carefully selects the products and ensures that they meet the highest quality standards. The products range from, accessories, clothing, sportswear and bags.

Under Marlene’s leadership, "HERA" has gained a loyal customer base, both locally and internationally. Marlene hopes to inspire other women in the region to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and make a difference in their communities.
